GOLF DUO GO ‘BACK TO BACK’
Daniel Nalder and Josh Metherall have downed a star studded field in a countback to claim the major prize at the Christmas Bonanza held at Belvoir Park Golf Club.
The talented duo who also show good form on the football field playing with Bridgewater in the Loddon Valley League amassed a score of 48 points in the 4BBB Stableford event to score first prize for the second year in a row.
The Christmas Bonanza backed by Bertocchi Smallgoods is the major fundraising event of the year at Belvoir Park Golf Club which run entirely by a hearty band of volunteers.
More than 200 players took to the fairways including professional golfers Kris Mueck, Paul Powell, Robert Stephens and Mark Sheppard.
Also in action at the big golf day was Carlton premiership player Ken Sheldon.
Highlight of the day came from Victorian Sandgreens Champion Ben Tatt who launched a three wood on the Par 4 293 metre seventh hole for a Hole in One.
Professional golfer Kris Mueck also showed that he is in great shape going into the next phase of the PGA Q-School in January with two eagles in the first nine holes.
